The Angel Through My Camera

I’ve been going to the photography group for nearly 10 years. I like going out, I don’t like being stuck in the house.

We have been out and photographed lots of different places over the years including;

• St Mary’s Lighthouse
• Exhibition Park
• Leazes Park
• The Quayside

I like taking pictures of ducks and swans.

The first time I visited the Angel of the North with the photography group, I felt SO small.

It’s SO tall and you have to look up – it looked like a rocket.

It reminded me of the rockets at the Kennedy Space Centre.

It was hard to fit it all in on my camera!

I went back to photograph the Angel recently and took some more photos. I used orange and blue filters turning some diagonal trying to fit it on the camera.
